Cruising is perhaps one of the greatest travel values available. When you consider the price of your cruise includes, meals, snacks, entertainment, accommodations, and many other features, it is truly one of the best values available.

Frequently, there are incentives for travelers to book early through price concessions. It used to be that the best prices were available on cruises 30 days or less before their departure. This is NO LONGER the case as the cruise lines are booking their ships at near capacity. Yes, there are occasional exceptions, but the rule has changed in the last few years as one of the major cruise lines is operating at 118% capacity already. Obviously, many travelers have found that cruising is a great value for the money spent.

Cruise DESTINATIONS are as varied as the cruise ships themselves. You may wish to take a smaller vessel to whale watch in the Northeast. There are a couple terrific, experienced lines that even offer WAKE UP service if whales are spotted while you are sleeping.

You may prefer a Caribbean itinerary, or perhaps you would like to cruise the fjords of Norway, the rivers of Europe, or even cruise the Panama Canal. There is no limit to the places you can experience on a cruise ship.

BAREFOOT cruises have become increasingly more popular with some clients as they want to experience actually sailing the vessel. These BAREFOOT cruises are a great way to get away from it all and be able to try your hand at assisting in the sailing of the vessel. Barefoot cruise vessels are much smaller and more intimate than the larger cruise lines.

SINGLES sailing on nearly any of the cruise lines may have the option of CABIN SHARING with a person of the same sex by placing their names on a waiting list. This can greatly reduce the cost for singles sailing alone.

CHILDREN and cruising are a good match. One of the major lines has a “Camp” aboard their ships that are designed around the needs of the younger set. There are camps for the smaller children in diapers, the youngsters, and teenagers. The activities range widely in what they have to offer. These camps aboard the ships are a great way for the kids to have a great time while the adults can take in a shore excursion, or go to a formal dining on the ship without the children. While the adults are dining with other adults, the children may be having a bar-b-que pool side on one of the decks and having a beach party at sea. EVERYONE has fun!!
